python-cffi software package provides Foreign Function Interface for Python calling C code, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-cffi
python-cffi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-cffi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-cffi *
You will get with python-cffi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
